Eric’s expertise in founding and managing real estate companies and properties provided him with a solid base on which to cultivate his business development abilities.
Before moving into real estate, Eric excelled as fund raiser in the financial markets and then as an entrepreneur. The companies he founded, developed and sold, include an internet investment fund, a logistics/industrial company and a stock brokerage company. After ten years of working in the European and US real estate and the hotel businesses, Eric has built himself an exclusive network of professionals that stretches into every corner of the real estate and hotel markets. He has transacted over €5 billion worth of real estate, and has over 3’000 hotel rooms currently under management.
Such transactions include the Garden Beach Hotel in Juan-les-Pins, the 31/33 rue des Jeuneurs buildings in Paris, and the Hotel Meridien in Paris (largest hotel in France).
Nicolas began his career at Société Générale (Paris, Buenos Aires and Sao Paulo) where he conducted trading and sales in the Emerging Market debt and derivatives group from 1992 through 1994. Then, from 1994 to 1999, Nicolas started Morgan Stanley (London)’s Emerging Market Debt Sales, and then moved to establish the High Yield Debt Trading activities of Morgan Stanley (London). In 2000, Nicolas was responsible for High Yield Debt Trading and distressed Debt Trading at Merrill Lynch (London), and from 2000 to 2002, he was responsible for the European High Yield Debt Trading team at Goldman Sachs (London).
In 2002, Nicolas joined Alpstar Capital Group as Managing Partner and member of the Board. He founded the Alpstar Credit Fund Business, raising over US$ 2bn of assets, and managing up to US$ 5bn of investments. During his career at Alpstar, Nicolas has traded, monitored and executed over US$ 75bn of financial transaction across global markets. He was a director and portfolio manager for several Alpstar investment management entities. In 2012, Nicolas established the Investment Holding of the group.
In 2013, after selling its asset management entity, Nicolas established the Investment Holding of One Capital Group. Nicolas holds a Business Administration degree from the Ecole de Hautes Etudes Commerciales du Nord (EDHEC) in France.
With an institutional investment background stretching various countries, Francesco’s Real Estate Investment Expertise is key in successfully bringing the moving parts of a complex deal together.
During his career, Francesco participated to the set up of the European Real Estate Headquarters based in Paris for Standard Life Investments and transacted over €3 billion worth of real estate, a large proportion of which were ground up developments. With over ten years of activity in the European real estate markets, Francesco has accumulated very large amounts of knowledge, experience, and network.
Francesco’s recent activities include the developments of a 117’000m² logistics warehouse and a 30’000m² retail park, both in Italy, and the acquisition of over €350 million worth real estate in Paris and Ile de France.
